When I went to the bank today, I asked for twos. They only had three, but I did get a series 1953A. (You can see pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/seacow_99/1420830176/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/seacow_99/1419942863/ if you like.) It’s so old I can’t even enter it into Where’s George. It’s strange to think that in all the years that I’ve been asking for bills that I’ve never seen a $2 that old. I did get an old single and an old ten, series 1969, but I let the one back into circulation before I realized what I had done.
In better news, I’m now above #40 in the state. I had that before, but only momentarily between posts. A few people refreshed and pushed me back down to the 40s. I’m inching towards #1 in the state, but I think the top ten is going to be tough. (Assuming I even get there.)
I’m going to keep asking for more twos in the hopes of getting more bills. Maybe I can even get a silver certificate.
